Balázs Tóth is contributing to the optimization of MOL Group’s biofuel portfolio and compliance as a Biofuel System Trader since 2018. Decarbonization of transport fuels became a strategic issue for oil companies in order to meet international climate objectives. In addition to taking a leading role in the launch and feedstock portfolio extension of co-processing in Danube Refinery, he actively contributed to the first supply of two novel type of biocomponents in the Group’s system. He is representing the company in one of the issue groups of FuelsEurope – an advocacy organization of EU Petroleum Refiners – and is secretary for the Hungarian National Committee of World Petroleum Council.
Balázs holds master’s degrees in agricultural engineering from Szent István University, engineer-economics from Corvinus University and oil industry engineering from Pannon University.
He is happy father of two wonderful daughters, lives in Budapest, Hungary and passionate about music, sports and almost all kind of DIY activities.
