Csaba Zsótér (Hungary) is the Senior Vice President, Fuels leading a team of 700 talented colleagues and managing MOL Group fuel commercial activities in 11 countries.
Csaba started his career in MOL Group as a fresh graduate in 2008 at the M&A department, where he worked on various business development projects. From 2011, he joined Downstream as manager assistant and then started his leadership journey in 2013. In the last ten years, he filled different supply, trading and commercial roles covering various commodities like biofuels, refined products, crude oil, natural gas, electricity, and also price risk management. He holds his current position as SVP, Fuels since Oct 1, 2022.
Csaba graduated at Corvinus University of Budapest as an economist and took leadership courses in Cotrugli Business School and School for Executive Education and Development (SEED)
Csaba joined WPC Young Professionals Committee in September 2013 as the representative of Hungary, participating in the 2013 Youth Forum in Canada. He was a Mentee in WPC Mentoring Program, main coordinator of WPC Youth Survey 2014 and head of the organizing team of the WPC Tomorrow’s Leaders Symposium (“European downstream: reFINEd future of the industry”) in October 2015 in Budapest. He has been an active member of the WPC YP Committee for eight years and he is currently a member of the WPC Congress Program Committee.
