Katia is a Master's of Applied Science and Engineering (MASc) Candidate in Civil and Mineral Engineering at the University of Toronto and an NSERC scholar recipient. She completed her Bachelor's degree in 2019 also at the University of Toronto, majoring in Civil Engineering and has three years of civil engineering research experience. She also has four years of professional experience with Procter & Gamble as a Software Engineer in Training (EIT), and recently completed an internship with Suncor Energy in the Advanced Analytics group. Katia is interested in the intersection between traditional engineering disciplines, automation and big data.
