DingGuosheng. Professor, currently serves as the Director of the Underground Storage Research Center of China Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute, a visiting professor at Sichuan University. he graduated with a bachelor’s degree from China Petroleum University in 1990. and obtained his Master's and PhD degree from China University of Geosciences in 1996 and 2004 respectively. He has Engaged in underground gas storage research and design for nearly 30 years. As the technical supervisor, he participated in site selection and feasibility study of underground gas storages ancillary to major pipeline projects in China, such as West-East gas pipeline, China-Russia East gas pipeline etc. In addition, as the main technical leader he in designing more than 10 underground storages, including the first salt cavern storage in China. He published more than 50 papers, and 7 monographs in underground storages.
