Hsieh Chen received Bachelor of Science from the National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan in 2006 and Doctor of Science from MIT in 2013, both in Materials Science and Engineering. He then joined Aramco Americas: Aramco Research Center-Boston, Reservoir Engineer Technology (RET) as a petroleum engineer. In RET-Boston, he has applied different computational techniques including molecular simulations, reservoir simulations, CFD, optimization theories, data inversion, etc. in supporting RET research projects mainly for improving hydrocarbon recovery and reservoir characterization applications.
