Dr. Engr. Ismaila Haliru Zarma was educated with First Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 2000 from University of Maiduguri. He also obtained Master Degree in Energy Studies (M.Engg.) from University of Markudi, and degree of Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy Resources Engineering at the Egypt- Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST).
Dr. Zarma joined Federal Government public service in 2002 with the Energy Commission of Nigeria to rose to post Deputy Director and has acquired expertise in the of fields of Conventional Energy Sources; Renewable Energy Sources; Energy Conversation and Management; Waste Management; Nuclear Technology; Energy Information Systems; National Energy Policies; Thermal Energy Storage; National Energy Policy Masterplan and National Energy Demand and Supply Projections just to mentioned few.
Dr. Zarma is a registered Engineer with Council for Regulation of Nigerian Engineers; and he also have Membership with Nigerian Society of Engineer; Nigerian Institute of Mechanical Engineers;
