Maria Yodaliz Hernandez graduated as a geophysical engineer in the Polytechnic University of Havana, made a second engeneering in Management of the Oil enterprice in the ESPM adjoint to the IFP in Paris, France. She held the position as a Geophysical Engineer in the Reservoir Management Department for around 10 years. She also held the position of Business Manager for more than 20 years. She was in charge of foreign relations and foreign investment for the Central Oil enterprice. She was appointed as Cuban's National Commettee Secretary since 2022.
