• Heading the functions of Lube Technology Vertical namely Automotive Research, Automotive Oils, Metal working oils, Synthetic Lubricants, Fuels & Additives, Greases, Industrial lubricants and Tribology of Indian Oil Corporation R&D Centre at Faridabad.
• Has about 30 years of experience in the areas of alternative fuels including biofuels, hydrogen, HCNG and lubricants for different vehicle segments.
• He has interest in the areas of Vehicle testing; engine testing and field trial activities related to engine oil development, fuels and emissions related projects.
• IOCL representative for various research projects being undertaken jointly with ARAI, SIAM, MoPNG, NITI Aayog etc.Presently heading various joint development and demonstration projects on M15, DME and LNG at IOC R&D. He is a board member of Lubrizol India.
