Bachelor and Master in Oceanography, and Doctor in Sciences from the Environment Program of the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Working at the Energy Research Office (EPE) which supports the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) energy policies with studies and research on energy planning. Among the activities developed, there is the support of one the main studies of the federal government about the Brazilian sedimentary basins that identifies and classifies effectively attractive areas with respect to their hydrocarbon potential. Contributions with discussions about the country's regulatory framework and analyses that consider socio-environmental and economic questions that allow oil and gas production forecasts, estimates for investments and equipment demand, are also done.
