Mr. Satyabrata Biswas graduated in Chemical Engineering from prestigious Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He has contributed immensely in the field of engineering and technology in various business segments including Refinery & Petrochemicals, Steam Cracking, Gasification, Green Hydrogen among others in his career spanning over two decades.
His work experience includes Process design and development (Basic & Detail Engineering), Licensor selection, Feasibility Studies, Refinery Configuration & LP Modelling primarily in the Refinery and Petrochemical sector. He led a team to implement Propylene Derivative Petrochemical Project of BPCL-KR, first of its kind niche petrochemical projects in India. He has also played a key role in EIL’s diversification in clean technologies such as 2G Ethanol, SAF, CSP both in India and overseas.
He is Certified with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and TQM-QES (Quality Education System) certified. He has contributed as lead author in the ETAC of MoPNG, GoI Report "The Green Shift" focused on the low-carbon transition of India's Oil & Gas sector. He has received several awards in his illustrious career for his unique contributions in the field of engineering and technology. His vision is centered around making a positive and impactful contribution to industrial transition to low-carbon technology leading to decarbonisation.
