Petroleum Engineering Specialist | Digital Transformation Lead, Aramco Americas
Uchenna Odi is currently a Petroleum Engineering Specialist and the Geosciences and Digital Transformation Unit Lead for the Upstream Technical Services R&D group at Aramco Americas. At Aramco Americas, Uchenna focuses on applied digital transformation, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence for Upstream operations. His previous experience includes working for Devon Energy as a Data Scientist, ENI as a Research Scientist, and the MIT Energy Initiative as a Visiting Scientist. Uchenna has a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (with a minor in Chemistry) from the University of Oklahoma, M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an Executive MBA (with an energy focus) from the University of Oklahoma. His areas of interest include applied artificial intelligence for Upstream operations, optimization, carbon dioxide utilization, enhanced oil recovery, and reservoir fluids. He also currently serves as a coeditor of the Energies Journal special issue “Hydraulic Fracturing: Progress and Challenges”.
