Prof. Shan Weiguo, is head of Oil & Gas Market Research at CNPC Economics and Technology Research Institute (ETRI). With nearly 30 years of industry expertise, Mr. Shan has been involved in dozens of research programs on oil & gas market, energy policy, energy security and international energy governance. Mr. Shan is an author of wide-ranging professional articles and is frequently invited to professional workshops (symposiums or forums), and interviewed by news media and consulted by the energy-related industries and financial institutions domestic and abroad.
Mr Shan, graduated from International Relation School of Peking University, with LLM (Master of law) in International Politics and International Organizations, and once studied or worked as a visiting scholar in Dundee University （UK), University of Nebraska at Omaha (USA) and International Energy Forum (IEF) at Riyadh, KSA.
