Energy demand globally will continue to increase and all forms of energy will be required to meet that demand, including oil and gas which will continue to play a major role for years to come. However, upstream operations must contribute to emissions reduction while providing the energy the world needs. This will require collaboration between governments, industry and academia to ensure a sustainable and cleaner energy future.
